totes boot

This was a project for my materials and lighting class at school. The task was to model, unwrap and texture any shoe we own. I decided to model my totes boot. Had some fun with this one, although the texturing didn't start out the way I wanted it to I feel I got the result I was looking for when I was done, we had a week to do this.

I felt like a box was the only feasible primitive object to start with.

Before I went further I decided to use nothing but images do do a quick test, just to see what the boot would look like.

The problem was the seams were too obvious, so I just used textures I found on the internet.

Diffuse, bump, and specular maps.

Textures used.

Actual boot I modeled.
