Ok so after painting the Caucasian hand in class the actual graded project was to texture our own hands as closely as possible. rather than use the model given by the professor I decided to use my own model of my own hand. I used mostly the spotlight feature in zbrush, with a little work in Photoshop.

human hand (caucasian)
This was done about a week or 2 ago an in class texturing assignment for my advanced lighting and materials. (Our professor provided a model for us) We were leading up to learning sub surface scattering in 3ds max. While my peers used Photoshop, I decided to give the spotlight feature in zbrush a try. Not too bad for a first attempt I don't think.
Mercedes DTM (abandoned)
This was done for my advanced texturing and lighting class. The goal of this project was to model and texture an abandoned car. I wasn't pleased with mental ray aspect of my project, so i decided to try it without mental ray. I figured I'd use the game design approach.

War Planes: Programming group project
This was is an ongoing group project at school for a programming for the artist class. I teamed up with a classmate Artem Ponomarev who is a very good programmer and we put this together. I pretty much took my template for the individual game and flipped everything horizontally to make it side scrolling and not top down. As I'm a better 3D modeler than programmer I did the majority of the artwork for the game.

Barrel textured
The very first project for the advanced lighing and materials class. We were given a 3d model of a barrel to texture. I am pleased with the way it turned out, though I wish I had some more time to create bump maps to further push the texture.
